In addition to heading up our Residential Property team, Robert has developed expertise in specialist areas of property practice including residential conveyancing, lease extensions and freehold acquisitions on behalf of tenants, farming and agricultural property law, bank finance and secured lending, and commercial property.
Robert also advises businesses on commercial leases, sales and purchases of going concerns, and new build development. He is also the firm’s senior responsible officer under its Conveyancing Quality Scheme accreditation.
Robert qualified in 2007 and trained with the firm before joining the Property Department, where he worked his way up to become a partner in 2010 and subsequently head of department.

Robert’s personal interests include landscape photography, travel, cycling, health and fitness. He has an ambition to climb all 214 “Wainwrights” in the Lake District so far having summited 125.
