Melissa qualified as a solicitor in March 2025 and joined the property team at Berry & Lamberts the same month. Her main focus is residential property, although she also has experience with commercial property having worked as a commercial assistant prior to her training contract.
She graduated from the University of Gloucestershire with an honours degree in Law before obtaining her master’s in professional Legal Practice at the University of Law in London.
Melissa handles a variety of residential transactions, including freehold and leasehold sales and purchases, re-mortgages and transfers of equity. During her training contract she found herself working on files that had some complex title issues, which she particularly enjoyed for the problem-solving challenges they presented.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends – including my cockapoo, Pepper! I also do my best to keep up with the Formula 1 season, supporting Team Papaya.
